PROFILE
Phoebe has been playing Australian Rules football for 10 years having joined the St Kilda Sharks Women’s Football Club at the age of 21. Since then she has represented Victoria on four occasions, the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Football Club and was selected All Australian in 2009. She was GWS Giants' leading goal scorer for 2017 AFLW season. Phoebe will continue to play for the Giants for the second season of the AFLW competition in 2018.
Outside of football Phoebe has worked in media and communications for five years, predominantly at the Melbourne Cricket Club. Working as the club’s Communication Coordinator she developed an excellent understanding of the media and gained experience creating content for a number of print and digital channels.
Since leaving the Melbourne Cricket Club, Phoebe now works part-time at a gym so she can focus on her AFL career. She’s regularly contributing as a freelance journalist to SEN’s Inside Football magazine, the AFL Women’s website and other well established publications.
