Cat has been selected again for the 2019 season by Melbourne FC in the AFLW, but before picking up a football she played every sport she could find, including water polo, athletics, surf league and basketball. She has also been heavily involved in Ultimate Frisbee for the last 10 years competing at tournaments around the world.

Outside of sport Cat works as a Mechanical Engineer, “I’m in the Industrial team, looking at projects related to Water, Energy and Process efficiency. I am really passionate about using maths and engineering to find innovative solutions to problems. I love reading and learning how things work, especially things related to nature!”

Cat also volunteers at The Hush Foundation, an organisation that uses The Arts to improve healthcare for patients and families.

She also played the Cello and French horn in high school, “maybe choosing such heavy instruments helped to give me strong arms for football.” Cat jokes.
